ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE PERTH DINGHY SAILING CLUB - COVID 19 In this difficult time of uncertain health outcomes and risks, it is recommended that all Members please refrain from using or visiting the Club’s facilities till we get clearance that the COVID-19 virus pandemic has passed. As the club has been now closed for the season, there will be no professional cleaning services being provided at the club until we re-open for the new season in October

PDSC Update - COVID19

Dear Members ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE PERTH DINGHY SAILING CLUB Following on from the announcement yesterday Sunday 22nd March 2020, by the Federal Government in relation with the Covid-19 Shut Downs. As per the Government directions the following will be applicable to the Perth Dinghy Sailing Club: Effective Immediately the 2019/20 Sailing Season has concluded and all club activities will cease until further notice.

Sailing Activities for this weekend 21st March 2020 With immediate effect all organised sailing activities for this weekend is suspended, further announcements will be made for the following weekends.

PDSC - COVID-19 Response & Update

The PDSC Management Committee have been monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic, including reference to Government and Australian Sailing issued advice on this matter, and we have determined the following response in respect to club activities over the remainder of the season.  Our response is based on both being concerned with the health and safety of our members and also wanting to act responsibly from a community health perspective.

2020 CST Composites i14 World Championships at Perth Dinghy Sailing Club - Team Racing

The CST Composites i14 World Championships commenced on December 30th at the Perth Dinghy Sailing Club with the team racing event that has its origins stretching back to 1933. The mandate of the event is comradery and fun, there are no trophies only recognition of a successful, exciting event during Welcome Night and New Year's Eve where all teams are recognised and are required to present a skit. The World Carnival has begun.

ICR Regatta - Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club

ICR Regatta Results - Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club Congratulations to Ashton Harris who came 1st in the Open Skiffs at the ICR Regatta at RFBYC last weekend. In the 29ers Matt Hanrahan and Jono Everett were 4th and Jenna Everett and Drina Bucktin 5th.

Donation Box for Non Perishable Items for Charity

PDSC is once again having a donation box where members can donate non perishabe food items for those less fortunate this Christmas. The box is located in the hall near the entrance to the canteen/kitchen area and will be there for the next few weeks awaiting your donations. Thank you in advance!

PDSC Bar Open Friday Evenings

The Dinghy Club bar is open every Friday evening from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Last Friday saw a collection of i14s, Cherubs and Sabres getting in some training before grabbing a quick beer.
