Thank You - Life Members & Legends Day

A big thank you to all our volunteers who helped make our Life Members & Legends Day a success. It started during the week with the club setup completed by Luisa Mollan and myself and It was a big volunteer effort on the day - thank you to Jenny Kerman, Shelley Wafford, Jenny Jones, Barbara Hughes, Amanda Bright and Odette Glisson for the afternoon tea prep and service and thank you to Darryl Dedman and Kylie Mawson for working the bar during the afternoon tea and making all the pimms cocktails.

The PDSC Social Committee is back the club now once again has a Social Committee. This is a sub committee and will reporting into the Management Committee. The mission of the Committee is to promote a culture of inclusivity and friendship through social events that connect all classes and all ages. Accredited Safety Boat Operator Course Completed

Thanks to the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries Coaching and Officiating Grants Program, Australian Sailing was pleased to support the accreditation of seven new Safety Boat Operators at Perth Dinghy Sailing Club last weekend

Sailing - Whilst Club Closed

All members are reminded to please check the wind forecast before sailing. Should you be sailing on days when the club is closed. The Management Committee is aware of two recent incidents when PDSC Members had to be rescued whilst the club was closed. One incident Water Police were involved and the other luckily club members happened to be around and were able to access the safety boats and go out and assist.

PDSC Christmas Party - Saturday 10th December 22 Christmas party is locked in, we will have face painting, bubbles, craft and games from Children's entertainers 3pm - 5pm and then Santa will arrive approx 5pm, Santa's elves will be accepting wrapped and labeled gifts at the Canteen on the day. BBQ Packs will be available for sale for dinner.
