ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE PERTH DINGHY SAILING CLUB - COVID 19

In this difficult time of uncertain health outcomes and risks, it is recommended that all Members please refrain from using or visiting the Club’s facilities till we get clearance that the COVID-19 virus pandemic has passed. As the club has been now closed for the season, there will be no professional cleaning services being provided at the club until we re-open for the new season in October (we will be getting the club cleaned throughout, once the pandemic has passed).

Please note, that due to the absence of regular professional cleaning, the clubs bathroom/toilet facilities will be closed until the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, and that for Members safety, we have changed the codes on the external doors to restrict access during this period.

Furthermore, that use of the remaining club facilities during this time, including getting boats in/out of storage at the club is not recommended.  If you still wish to visit the club,  including getting boats in/out of storage, then we advise that this is at the members’ own risk.

During this time your safety is our concern, please be safe, act safe and please ensure you observe the government recommended social distancing and hygiene practices.

On another note - I was saddened to hear of the recent passing of PDSC Heron sailor Kelvin Taylor. We send our deepest sympathy to Mavis and the Taylor families
