Dear Members,
Further to the advice on 4th July 2019, please find attached a notice of a Special General Meeting of the club membership, to be held at the club at 12:30pm Saturday 2nd November 2019 (the date of the first club championship heat).

All Ordinary (Full) and Life Members are requested to attend the meeting at the club, to vote on two motions: (1) To accept a new Rules of Association for the club (also called the Constitution) and (2) A set of club by-laws. Wording of the motions to be put are found in the notice of meeting.

Please find attached copies of the proposed Rules of Association and By-laws that we will vote upon. Besides some minor typographical and formatting changes the Rules of Association and By-laws attached to this email are generally equivalent to those emailed on 4th July 2019, with one highlighted exception at rule 10(6) (see yellow highlight in the Rules of Association).

The notice of meeting contains some background on the changes and the steps following the vote.
For Ordinary (Full) and Life Members unable to attend the meeting, you may complete a proxy form to nominate another Ordinary (Full) or Life Member who can vote either as you direct, or as they see fit. The proxy form is attached to the notice of the meeting. Completed proxy forms must be received by the undersigned prior to the commencement of the Special General Meeting.
