Dear Members,

The Flag Officers and Management Committee have reviewed todays announcement by Premier Mark McGowan (see here: https://www.wa.gov.au/government/covid-19-coronavirus) about the 5 day Perth CBD lockdown commencing 6pm Sunday 31^st January until 6pm Friday 5^th February 2021.

The Management Committee advice to all members is that, based on the WA government’s restrictions:

1. The club is closed for all sailing activities, meetings and hall hire events until further notice.  Please do not go to the club during this coming week, until advised otherwise.
2. Further advice on whether next Saturdays racing (6^th February 2021) will go ahead, will be advised to members in due course, based upon the WA government communications on the lockdown, to be made during this coming week.
3. Please note that the further government advice on the lockdown and then subsequent club advice on the resumption of sailing (or not) may only occur on/near Friday 5^th February 2021, so we ask all members to pay close attention to our communications during this coming week.

We ask all members to stay safe and informed (using the WA government website https://www.wa.gov.au/government/covid-19-coronavirus), and we look forward to a resumption of sailing and normal club operations as quickly as possible.
